Rebecca was the first white woman to go West of the mountains. Daniel wanted to go to Florida, but Rebecca persuaded him to go West. "In the summer of 1780 Rebecca surprised everyone with her tenth pregancy. She was forty. Boone forty- five, and they were about to enter their twenty-fifty year of marriage. nathan, the last of their children, was born on March 3, 17881. Also
